Identity / Triptent
I’ve spent the last few months working as an office PA at a company that produces commercials, assisting the head of production in the bidding process. Whether I’m updating the glam squad contact database or cataloging our directors’ most recent spots, every day brings something new. And that’s not to mention the in-house advertising agency, Triptent, for which I’ve been able to assist in the launch of premium vodka brand 50 Bleu.
Barry Katz Entertainment
While finishing my degree in Los Angeles during the summer of 2014, I interned for comedy talent manager Barry Katz. I wrote coverage on scripts, provided input on prospective projects, and served as a production assistant for the Industry Standard with Barry Katz podcast. I also managed phones, travel, and calendars.
Hyde Park Entertainment
My time in California also allowed me the opportunity to intern at Hyde Park Entertainment, a film production company led by the award-winning producer Ashok Amritraj. While at Hyde Park, I served as the office’s main receptionist, composed script coverage for the company’s CEO and President of International Sales, and had the opportunity to practice pitching a project to the entire executive staff.
While living in London during the fall of 2013, I interned at MarketCast, one of the leading marketing consultants in the entertainment industry. I contributed to brand studies for franchises like Disney/Pixar’s Cars, Transformers, and Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as the market research for international releases of Despicable Me 2, Thor: The Dark World, and others. My time at MarketCast helped develop my skills in brand analysis and ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
Also in 2013, I interned at ShootersTV in Philadelphia, where I gained experience in unscripted television and aided in the development of Bar Hunters on Discovery Channel. My time at Shooters included assisting in the casting and location-scouting processes, drafting production memos, and transcribing footage from shoots and cast interviews.
Media Meltdown Productions
While studying at Temple University, I served as the secretary on the executive board of a student-run production company. My time at MMP also included screenwriting, acting, and event planning.
I starred as Greg in the pilot episode of The Meltdown, a short-lived web series. I created and wrote for the character.
I produced the 2012 promo video for MMP’s annual hosting of Temple’s Free Food and Fun Friday.
